Where do we meet?
Unless otherwise agreed, the meeting point is:

What if I cannot attend?
If you are prevented from attending, please contact us as soon as possible at:

What should I bring?
We recommend bringing clothing suitable for outdoor activities and changing weather conditions.
Warm layers are always recommended in Norway. If meals are not included in your booking,
participants should bring their own food and drinks.

Can tours change?
Epic Norway may adjust routes, locations, or timing if needed due to weather, safety conditions,
or other operational factors in order to ensure the best possible experience.

🤿 Diving
Do I need diving certification?
Certified divers are welcome on our guided dives.
If you are not certified, we offer introductory experiences such as Discover Scuba Diving
with a qualified instructor.
How cold is the water?
Water temperatures on the Norwegian west coast usually range from around
6°C in winter to 14°C in summer. Most dives are conducted in drysuits, during late spring/summer and authum wetsuit is a ok choice.
What clothing should I wear under a drysuit?
Warm base layers are recommended. Wool underwear and wool socks work best.
If you do not have suitable thermal clothing, basic wool layers can be purchased
in nearby stores before the activity.
Is equipment included?
Depending on the booking, diving equipment can be included or rented separately.
Full equipment sets including drysuit, regulator, BCD and fins are available.
How many dives are included?
Express dive trips normally include one guided dive.
Full-day experiences may include one or two dives depending on the plan and conditions.

🛶 Kayaking
Do I need previous kayaking experience?
No prior experience is required. Our tours are beginner-friendly and include a safety briefing before departure.
What equipment is included?
Kayak, drysuit. paddle, safety equipment and drybags are provided for all participants.
What are the safety requirements?
Participants should feel comfortable in the water and follow the guide’s safety instructions at all times.
Minimum age is typically 15 years for regular tours, while family tours may allow younger participants.
Maximum recommended participant weight is approximately 120 kg.
What if weather conditions are poor?
If weather conditions are not suitable for kayaking, we may move the activity to a more sheltered location or reschedule the tour.

🎣 Fishing trips
Do I need fishing experience?
No experience is necessary. Our guides will help with equipment, techniques and local knowledge of the fishing areas.
What fish can we catch?
Typical species in the Bergen area include cod, pollock, mackerel and other coastal fish depending on the season.
Is fishing equipment included?
Fishing rods, tackle and guidance can be provided depending on the experience booked.

🚤 Boat trips

All participants must listen carefully to the safety briefing before departure.
It is important that everyone understands the safety instructions and follows the guide’s directions during the entire trip.

Participants should inform the guide in advance if they use medication or have injuries or medical conditions that may affect participation.

Boat activities are generally not recommended for people with severe back, neck, heart or lung conditions.
If you are unsure whether the activity is suitable for you, please contact us in advance.

Participants must wear the safety equipment provided during the activity.

📅 Cancellation, weather & policies

Cancellation policy
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the activity are eligible for a 50% refund.
If only a deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable.

No-show
Failure to appear at the meeting point without prior notice will result in no refund.

Weather conditions
If weather conditions make the activity unsuitable, we may move the activity to a more suitable location or offer an alternative date.

Alcohol or intoxication
Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate.

Epic Norway and Nemo Classic Diving reserve the right to cancel or modify activities if necessary due to safety, weather or operational considerations.
